### A Partnership in Innovation: GT and Rolls-Royce Pioneer Real-Time Simulation with GT-SUITE and GT-POWER-xRT: Coupling Engine and Cooling System Models on HiLs

Rising calibration effort, increasing system complexity, and shorter development timelines are driving manufacturers toward virtual testing, as physical test benches can cover only a portion of the required test cases.

In this joint webinar from Rolls-Royce and Gamma Technologies, attendees will learn how the Rolls-Royce Power Systems division uses Virtual Test Beds, where a real ECU operates in a closed loop with a real-time engine model and physical actuators.  Engine models built in GT-SUITE and executed with GT-SUITE-xRT are coupled with a cooling system model in GT-SUITE through FMI/FMU co-simulation.

The webinar will explore applications including software validation and calibration refinement across *mtu* engine families. Speakers will discuss the methodology, share results and correlation with measured data, and outline the roadmap for future multiphysics integration. Attendees will also gain insight into the benefits of reduced testing time and lower CO₂ emissions enabled by this approach.
