From 3D CFD to 1D: Tools and workflows to drive design with 3D CFD in GT-SUITE
3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is an indispensable part of modern engineering and design. This Lunch and Learn will share tools, workflows and case studies about how GTSUITE’s integrated 3D CFD capabilities can improve accuracy and front load the design cycle. Topics will include using 3D CFD simulations to create 1D components and models, improving accuracy by including 3D CFD as part of the system model, and adapting steady state CFD results into transient results. Applications will cover front end air flow, engine air intake, cabins.
